Flute Music by Michelle
Michelle Cox provides flute and vocal music for weddings, salon music evenings, house concerts, banquets, funerals, and many other types of events.
Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Victoria, where she studied flute with Lanny Pollet. She has performed professionally with Victoria's Palm Court Orchestra, the Canadian Tenors Orchestra (she can be heard on the recording The Canadian Tenors), the Sacramento Philharmonic, and Ensemble Pacifica, a Victoria-based ensemble dedicated to exploring the repertoire for double-woodwind quintet.
Michelle has sung as a member of the Honolulu Opera Theatre and is currently a member of the Pacific Opera Victoria chorus. She maintains a busy freelance schedule as a flautist, vocalist, and teacher, performing regularly in and around Victoria in concerts of all kinds.
Michelle provides various combinations of flute and voice with other instruments upon request, such as:
